Candidates who wish to start their profession in united Bank of India have to qualify in the online objective type exam and personal interview. The selected candidates will have to undergo training and internship in NIIT institute. On successful completion of the training, the trainee will be placed as Probationary Officer anywhere in India.

Educational Standards for Probationary Officer
The candidates who wish to join as Probationary Officer should be a graduate in any specialization from a government recognized university or institute.
Individuals who are waiting for their final semester results and candidates who didn’t clear the qualifying exam cannot apply for this post.
Age Ceiling on UBI vacancy
The upper age limit for the applicants should not be less than 21 years and beyond 30 years i.e. the candidates must have born not earlier than 2nd June 1986 and not later than 1st June 1995.
This restricted age can be allowed to relax upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen category, 3 years for OBC- Non Creamy Layer candidates and 10 years for PWD category (13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ ST) as per the Government of India orders.
Process for recruiting Probationary Officer
The selection process includes online test and personal interview or Group Discussion. Based on the details provided by the individuals through online, the selection committees will shortlist the candidates for online test.
The acknowledgement for the test will be made via email or SMS. Qualified candidates will be asked to participate in the interview or group discussion. The personal interview shall be conducted through video conferencing.
The interviewer will scrutinize the interviewee by his/ her interaction skills, banking knowledge and attitude.
Salary Details for UBI vacancy
The eligible candidates will be put under a training section in NIIT Institute for a period of one year which includes 3 months internship also. The students undergoing training will get a stipend of Rs.2500/- per month and Rs.12000/- during the internship.
After the successful completion of training period, the trainees will be awarded PG in Banking & Finance and shall be appointed as Probationary Officer and can be posted anywhere in India. The person engaged as Officer will get emoluments as per the Junior Management Grade Scale –I of Rs.23700 to 42020/- per month.
Apart from the above pay, the officers are admissible for dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and City Compensatory Allowance as per the UBI rules.
UBI’s Fee Remittance Mode
The application fee/ intimation charges have to be paid by means of online gateways (Net banking, credit card, debit card) only. The candidates belonging to general and OBC have to pay Rs.700/- and Rs.150/- for the SC/ ST and PWD candidates.

- Visit the above link and click on the “Recruitment” tab.
- Open the Online application for Admissions to PGDBF Course and click on “Apply Online” option.
- If you have not registered yet, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter your name, contact details and email address.
- After the submission, you will receive a provisional Reg no and password to your email.
- Using that Reg number, log into your profile and fill the online form.
- Upload your scanned photo and signature.
- After clicking the final submit button, Click on the “Payment” tab.
- Proceed with payment through online and click on the “Submit” button after you have made your payment.
- An application form and e-Receipt will be displayed on the system.
- Download and take the printout of the forms for future reference.
