TNTET Syllabus 2017

Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) is a competitive exam conducted by Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB), in every year. It is an Indian Entrance examination, mandatory for getting as Teachers into Government Schools. Since the exam is being nearer for this current year recruitment, applied candidates are advised to get ready for the exam. Before preparing for the examination, you need to get the syllabus. In this regard, Preparing without syllabus, you cannot able to achieve your goal in easy way.

So, we offer details regarding TNTET Syllabus 2017 for the benefit of candidates to write the exam with more confidence. It is the only examination conducted for the recruitment of Teachers in Tamil Nadu, so obviously the competition for the exam is too high. The selection for this examination will be in single phases, but scheduled in separate days for Secondary Grade Teachers and Graduate Teachers. Some of the eligibility required to attend the TET examination is listed below,

Subjects for TET Syllabus: Applicants have to clear either Paper-I or Paper-II depending on their choice (Secondary Teacher or Graduate Teacher) in single tier.  Surely, these two papers are conducted in offline mode i.e. written type. TNTET Exam Pattern 2017

In TET examination, questions would be of objective type multiple choices. It is conducted for a composite duration of three hours. In between this meantime, contestants have to answer 150 questions. These questions will cover in various sections. In each of the sections, about 30 questions took part in the question paper.

  • TET examination is of objective type.
  • It is an OMR based examination conducted for 2 hours.

Upcoming TET Exam: In accordance with the guidelines framed by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), this exam is conducted very soon by the board of State Government. This examination is planned with an intention to satisfy the needs of Secondary Graduate Teachers and Graduate Teachers in various Government Schools of Tamil Nadu. The vacancies should be more; the exact number of vacancies is not indicated in the notification. Some of the list of details for the upcoming TET examination is as follows,
