TNTET Hall Ticket 2017: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released a Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) notification in February 2017. The qualifying certificate of TET will be useful for candidates to get easier posting in Government aided/ unaided Schools, as Teacher. This state level competitive examination is now going to be conducted on April month of 2017. Diploma qualified or Arts/ Science or equivalent graduates who had submitted their applications in response of this new circular (2017) will be issued with the TNTET Hall Ticket 2017 to participate in exam. TNTET Hall Ticket 2017

Exam conducting authority – Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) helps government on appointment of suitable Faculties/ Instructors/ Assistants in educational institutes/ Schools within state. As per guidelines framed by National Council of Teacher Education, the TNTET exam is planned by board. To participate in this test, eligible candidates whoever submitted applications for Paper-I/ II of TNTET examination must get a valid Hall Ticket issued from board.

Details of exam time table, some of the personal details, etc. would be indicated in this admission certificate. Participants who are succeeding in this examination can take classes for 1st to 8th standard, depending upon his/ her qualification. Once passed (60% and above), this certificate will be considered as valuable for 7 years.

  • Registration/ Roll Number of appliers, photograph, birth date, etc. will be indicated in Hall Ticket for easier people identification.
  • Hall Ticket is like an entrance key to appear in examination that says he/ she is eligible to attend TNTET test.
  • Session, day and place of examination would also be clearly indicated.

TNTET Exam 2017

Eligibility Criteria: Citizens who are below superannuation of age and are having Diploma/ Degree qualification on Teacher Education/ Elementary Education/ Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History/ Geography or equivalent subjects are said to be eligible persons. The main thing is experience is not compulsory.

Recruitment Process: TNTET-2017 exam is one of the eligibility for appointing Teachers in Schools of Tamil Nadu. The secondary grade Teachers take classes for 1st to 5th standard students and Graduate Teachers will be permitted to teach 6th to 8th standard students. So TNTET-2017 is also having two papers i.e. Paper-I is for Secondary Grade Teacher position and Paper-II for other.

Individuals who are meeting above the cut-off marks set by board shall be called for certificate verification. TNTET-2017 qualified certificates will be issued only if the eligibility proving documents are found valid. When need arises in Schools/ Institutes under TN TRB, based on TNTET scores selection shall be done by government.

Exam Scheme: On offline mode, the Paper-I/ II exams of TN TRB will be organised. About four sections from which questions would be asked will remain same for both papers i.e. Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam/ Kannada/ Urdu), Language-II (English) and Mathematics/ Science/ Social Science. One more subject from which questions shall be drafted for Paper-I is Environmental Studies. From each section, mostly 30 questions shall be asked.

  • Paper-I/ II is an objective type test for which OMR sheets shall be issued.
  • About 150 questions shall be asked for this competitive examination.
  • Duration of TNTET examination 2017 is 3 hours.
  • Total marks are also 150, for both papers.

How to Download TNTET Hall Ticket 2017

As the Teacher’s eligibility examination is scheduled on mid of August, atleast one or two weeks before test the TNTET Hall Ticket 2017 will be uploaded in internet site of recruitment board. No hall tickets will be sent through Post for eligible candidates. So, regularly visit the website page to know about any sort of new updates regarding this hall ticket/ exam. Applicants who didn’t get this entrance certificate are ineligible to attend the test.

In the Hall Ticket downloading page, the total number of admitted candidates for Paper-I/ II and allotted centres will be indicated. Also, the date and timings of exam papers will be mentioned generally. Candidates should remember their Registration Number, Password, etc. to successfully download this admission certificate from official webpage of Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board. The steps are,

  • Open the page tn.nic.in.
  • In homepage, click the TNTET
  • Then choose “Hall Ticket” option, from the available links.
  • After reading the general schedule, press “Next” button.
  • On next page, as you applied hit “Please Click for Paper-I/ II” options.
  • Enter the requisite registration number/ date of birth/ password, to open your hall ticket.
  • Finally save and download
  • Thus TNTET Hall Ticket 2017 can be downloaded successfully.

Exam Venues: In all the 66 (approx) Educational District Headquarters, this TNTET-2017 examination shall be conducted by board. Venues will be fixed only by exam conducting authority based on administrative convenience. Once allotted, there is no chance for change of examination centres. Also, aspirants will not get any journey fare for participating in examination.
