TNTET 2017 Exam Notification Get Application Form at

TNTET 2017 Exam: Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) is an authorised authority which conducts Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility test (TNTET) each year for recruiting well-qualified teachers to serve below various government schools. This year also, TRB is going to organise a TNTET examination for selecting suitable staff for teaching students who are studying in 1st to 8th standard of various government aided schools in Tamil Nadu. Job Seekers who are passionate about teaching jobs are requested to apply for this exam. To attain this TNTET 2017 Exam, aspirants should get good score in this examination. Qualifying candidates can apply for teacher jobs in any schools. Keen and Eligible candidates are asked to submit their application through the methods given below.

Eligibility Criteria for TNTET Examination: Aspirants who are willing to apply for TNTET Examination should have passed 12th class with Diploma in teacher Education / Elementary Education or BA / B.Sc / B.Litt in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, History and Geography or any similar degree from a recognised university.

Candidates who are appearing for the Final year examination of D.E.Ed / B.Ed degree are also eligible to apply for this test.

Mode of Selection: The application submit by the aspirants will be scrutinised by the screening committees at TRB. Aspirants who seemed to be suitable shall be called for the Paper-I Examination. Qualifying candidates will be asked to appear for the Paper-II Examination. These exams shall be held in 66 centers in Tamil Nadu.

After the completion of both the exams, aspirants who have secured minimum 60 % marks would be invited for certificate verification. Suitable candidates will be provided TET Certificate, which will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue.

TNTET Examination Pattern: The TNTET Examination comprises of two papers,

i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. The paper-I consists of questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I & II, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences.

In case of Paper-II, the questions will be called from the same topic but the difficulty level will be high. There will be a total of 150 questions, which shall be held for a period of 3 hours.

Examination Fee: The general and OBC category applicants can deposit their examination fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC / ST / PWD)at any nearest branch of State Bank of India / Indian Overseas Bank / Canara Bank by using challan. You can find the attachment of challan at the back of the application form.

Applying Process for TNTET 2017 Exam and Application Form

After reading the above said eligibility conditions, graduates who seemed to be satisfactory are motivated to apply for this exam. The application form for the TNTET 2017 Exam can be obtained from the “Head Masters of Government Higher Secondary Schools” by paying Rs.50/- in cash.

Fill the form with required details and affix a recent passport size photo on the box provided for it. Attach the documents in support of qualification, experience, age, caste, challan, etc along with the form.

The self addressed cover which holds the application should be inscribed with “Application for the Post of________” at the top and submit it directly at the “Office of District Educational Officer” on or before the last date.
