SSC UDC Syllabus 2017 Exam Pattern PDF Download. Upper Division Clerks Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination has been planned by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently. The examination will be of computer based or written examination as decided by the recruitment board. It is a smart choice for the aspirants who served as Lower Division Clerk to be promoted as an Upper Division Clerk through this recruitment. Graduates or Post Graduates shall be eligible to take part in this examination by submitting the application, together with necessary enclosures in advance. The next phase of application submission is exam preparation. At this stage, many of the candidates facing complexity for getting syllabus for the examination. SSC UDC Syllabus

As from the term, Staff Selection commission, we came to know that the major role of the board is in-taking staffs for various services of the Government. With respect to that, presently they are enrolling staffs for Lower Division Clerk Post in various Clerical services. To enroll the deserving persons, they conduct an examination both in objective and conventional type.

For allotting the contenders, it’s about nearly one month more to attend the examination. So it’s the right time to prepare a plan and to get ready for the examination. SSC UDC Exam Pattern

The UDC Examination shall comprise of two papers, which includes paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type with aggregate of 200 marks and coming to Paper-II, it is in descriptive form with a total of 100 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each of the wrong answer. The prescribed pattern for UDC Exam is scheduled below,

Persons who have appeared for part-I are allowed to answer for paper-II. They have the option to answer the questions either in English or Hindi.

Paper-I UDC Exam Syllabus

Here in this section, questions will be aimed at testing the candidates General Awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. And also, for checking the knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations of the candidates participate in the examination.   1. English language

The Questions occupied in the sections is to test the aspirants understanding and knowledge of English language. The headings related to the English language section are listed below,

Paper-II UDC Exam Syllabus

The question paper will be on noting, drafting and office procedure. It will be designed to test the candidates knowledge of office procedure in the Secretariat and Attached Offices and, in general, their ability to write and understand notes and drafts. Candidates are required to refer the below topics while preparing for the examination.

  • Manual of Office Procedure/ Manual of Office Procedure issued by Ministry of Railways.
  • The Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
  • Hand Book of orders issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding use of Hindi for official purpose of the Union and Reservation Policy for SC/STs in services.
  • Orders issued by Government thereon from time to time.
