RCUES Recruitment 2016 – Vacancies for Director, Officer and Other Posts. Regional Centre for Urban & Environmental Studies (RCUES) working underneath Ministry of Urban Development, Indian Government has posted a new notification in its website for hiring eligible candidates through Direct Recruitment/ Deputation/ Service Transfer process. Through this selection process, the Director, Officer, Assistant, Stenographer and Accountant positions in RCUES are going to be filled.

The job location is Lucknow, where this Centre has been established. Officers applying from Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs/ Semi Government must have hold any equivalent posts in concerned departments or with not less than 3 to 5 years of regular service in similar pay as mentioned below.

Academic Profile of RCUES Recruitment

RCUES RecruitmentPersons willing to work as Office Assistant/ Stenographer in RCUES must have completed Graduation and for all other posts Master’s Degree in pertinant disciplines with first division marks from government approved university is the essential qualification.

Good communication skills in English & Hindi is also expected for Director/ Officer positions. Candidates in possession of Diploma (F & A) or similar streams with training in cash & accounts are also eligible for Accountant post.

For Technical Assistant job, knowledge in field work, data collection/ analysis is also an expected skill. An ‘O’ level certificate from DOEACC, typing skills and knowledge in Modern Office management & Secretarial Practice are also vital for Stenographer position.

Desirable Experiences to Apply on RCUES

About 5 years of administrative experiences in training/ research/ consultancy is vital for Joint Director/ Research Officer job and preference shall be given to aspirants those who had gained experiences in urban sector. For all other designations, about 3 years of working experiences in relevant areas is obligatory.

RCUES Age Restrictions

The minimum age limit to apply for RCUES recruitment is 21 years and the ceiling age is 40 years, for all aforementioned direct recruitment posts. Aspirants those who wish to engage on Deputation/ Service Transfer basis should not be beyond 56 years of age.

The SC/ ST/ PH personnel’s would get 5 years of age relaxation and OBCs shall be granted with 3 years of concession in upper age.

Selection Modes of RCUES Recruitment

Personal Interview is the mode of selection for RCUES jobs. But for Office/ Technical Assistant and Stenographer posts, an additional Written Test would also be conducted before interview process. Only individuals scoring good marks in test, will get an opportunity to attend interview.

At the time of interview, original documents would also be verified by Selection Authorities. Candidates failing to produce the necessary certificates will not be interviewed.

Remunerations Given for RCUES Appointees

A Pay Band – 3 salary of Rs.15600 – 39100/- has been fixed for Director/ Officer posts and personnel’s hired for other positions shall receive Rs.9300 – 34800/- (Pay Band – 2) salary, per month. Appointees may also get other allowances and benefits as per RCUES norms.

RCUES Application Fee

The General/ OBC candidates should draw a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1000/- and SC/ ST appliers must remit Rs.500/-.  The application fee for differently abled applicants is limited as Rs.150/-. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Director, Regional Centre for Urban & Environmental Studies, Lucknow” which is payable at Lucknow.

RCUES Applying Procedure

The format of application is given in official site of RCUES. Those who wish to apply for aforementioned posts can type the same format on plain paper and fill it. The duly filled form should be attached with Demand Draft and self attested copies of Educational Qualification, Age proof, Caste, Experience, Vigilance/ NOC (if applicable), etc.

The cover containing these enclosures should be super scribed in wordings as “Application for the Post of _____________”.
