RARI is a research Institute which is functioning under Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science (CCRAS) is seeking for aspirants who are having keen knowledge in Ayurveda. The engagement period for the designees is one year.

Contract on RARI Recruitment 2016 may terminate or extended at the discretion of the competent authority and their engagement will be coterminous with the project. Except Junior Research Fellow (Ayurveda) remaining all other appointees are placed in North East plan RARI extension centre. Postings will be in four different places of Sikkim at Singtam/ Rangpo, Namchi, Geyzing and Mangan.

Capabilities for Vacancies in RARI
Applicants for the post of Senior Consultant in RARI should have possessed MD/ MS degree in field of ayurveda. Junior Research Fellow should have completed BAMS degree from a recognized University or Institution.
Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharm in field of Ayurveda from any recognized University or Institution is required for the post of Pharmacist. Qualified in 10th is the necessity for the post of Multi Task Staff.
Candidates applying for the positions of Senior Consultant and Junior Research Fellow should have knowledge in computer applications such as MS Office, Excel etc.
Age Confinement for RARI Recruitment
Aspirants who are applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow, their maximum age limit should be 35 years. For the post of Pharmacist, the age limit is confined to 27 years.
For the post of Multi Tasking Staff the maximum age limit should be 25 years as on the date of interview. Relaxations are possible for the persons who are belonging to the category of SC/ ST/ OBC as per Government rules.
Selecting Way of RARI
Individuals who are applying for the positions of Senior Consultant, Junior Research Fellow (Ayurveda) and Pharmacist will be selected by both written test and interview. For other candidates, they are selected either by written test or interview during Walk-in-Interview drive.
Interviewee/ Attendees shall bring their Bio-data along with original certificates, experience certificates etc. with a set of photocopy and two recent passport size photograph. No travel or dearness allowance will paid for the attendees.
Remuneration Applicable for Designees in RARI
Appointees for the post of Senior Consultant will get a salary of Rs.50000/- per month. For the post of Junior Research Fellow, the appointees will receive remuneration of Rs.25000/- per month. Additionally the candidates will also receive an extra benefit of 10% of house rent allowance.
Designators for the post of Pharmacist will receive an adequate remuneration of Rs.16000/- per month for his/ her work. Multi Task Staff will receive a consolidated salary of Rs.10000/- per month.

Walk-in-Interview will be held at the venue of “The Research Officer In charge, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim” on 23rd June, 2016 sharply at 10.30 AM.
