President’s Secretariat Recruitment 2016 –Apply for 31 Attendant, Masalchi and Baker’s Mate Positions. A notification circulated by President’s Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan (New Delhi) says that it needs a group of Indian citizens for Attendant, Masalchi and Baker’s Mate posts, to work in the President’s Household Establishment Section. Only young nationals having relevant working knowledge in hospitality service industry are eligible to apply.
This is an earlier published advertisement, but now with small changes in last date of application submission for the following posts the notice has been dispersed again. Newly applying individuals should note that, those who had finished their on-job training course (Apprenticeship) as applicable to designation, in addition to the eligibility criteria given below are only desirable.

As this is a direct recruitment Tests will be conducted by the management. The appointees will get postings mostly in Shimla, Delhi and Hyderabad, but later the job location may be changed anywhere within India depending upon President’s Establishment. Academic Profile of President’s Secretariat Recruitment
Candidates those who had completed Diploma Courses in concerned subjects after Higher Secondary are preferable for this recruitment. Also, aspirants willing to engage as Room Attendant/ Masalchi/ Baker’s Mate must have accomplished the Apprentice Course certificate in relevant fields.
Note: The qualifications acquired by applying individuals should be recognized by NCVT/ NCHMCT.
President’s Secretariat Recruitment Experience Details
Persons having atleast 2 years of experience in hospitality environment on corresponding trades are desirable for Attendant/ Masalchi/ Baker’s Mate posts of President’s Secretariat.
Age Restrictions by President’s Secretariat
Desirous candidates can apply for the household jobs of President’s Secretariat, but the maximum age should not be more than 27 years. Relaxations are admissible to SC/ ST/ OBC personnel’s and Ex-Servicemen as per Indian Government norms. The cut-off date for determining upper age limit is 30th June 2016.
President’s Secretariat Selection Criteria
Written Test and relevant Trade Exam shall be organized by President’s Secretariat as decided. The Written Exam is for 100 marks and those who are qualifying in this round shall be permitted for Trade Test, which carries 50 marks. After seeing the overall merit marks obtained by participants, fitting aspirants shall get appointed to Attendant/ Masalchi/ Baker’s Mate posts.
Pay Scales Given by President’s Secretariat
Individuals selected for these Household Establishment jobs will be offered with a monthly salary of Rs.5200 – 20200/- as per Pay Band – 1. In addition to this, appointees shall also get a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- on monthly basis as per President’s Secretariat rules.

- Fill the form as per instructions and upload your necessary documents, photo & signature.
- Click on “Final Submit” button, after prior checking.
It is notable that, if the applying candidate is an government employee, then he/ she should upload their certificates from current employer’s on-line.
After final submission take printout copy of submitted form and sent it along with self signed copies of Educational Qualification, Age proof, Caste, NOC (if any), etc. to “The Deputy Secretary (Estt.), President’s Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi – 110 004”, through Post.
