Assistant Vacancies Required Qualifications:
Candidates those who wish to apply for Assistant Curator post should have completed Master’s degree in relevant fields. He/ She applying for the position of Senior Education Assistant must have obtained Bachelor’s degree (History) from recognized institution.
Experiences Preferred for Assistant Posts:
Individuals applying for Assistant Curator post in President Secretariat should have 2 years of practical experience to assist Keepers / Curators and should know application of latest IT techniques in museum.
Teaching experience of 5 years in any reputed institution is preferred for Senior Education Assistant vacancy. Also, they should have fluency in Hindi & English languages.
Age Restrictions of President Secretariat:
Though the upper age limit for these Assistant posts is 30 years, President Secretariat will reckon this age limit as on June 15, 2016. But the government servants will get 5 years of age relaxation, as per the orders issued by Central Government till date.
President Secretariat Selection Process:
Written Test is the only mode of selection for Assistant posts. Test will be in objective type with multiple choice questions from relevant subject and General Aptitude. Only eligible aspirants are selected to these posts, based on their performance in this Test.
Scale of Pay for Assistant Posts:
The salary levels for selected candidates may range from Rs.9300 – 34800/- as per Pay Band – 2. In addition to this, the appointees for Assistant posts will get grade pay of Rs.4600/- per month.
