Essential Qualification for Manager Posts:
The pilots who are apply for the Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Manager Safety/ FOQA should hold CHPL/ ATPL (H)/ CPL and must have sound knowledge in Civil Commercial Operation/ Maintenance with analytical skill and computer literacy.
Candidates applying for the Assistant general Manager position (HR) and manager (Internal Audit) Post should possess MBA degree or any equivalent graduation in Industrial Relations & Personal Management or Finance from a recognized institute.
Professionals applying for the General Manager, Joint GM and Assistant GM must hold a CHCL/ ATPL with at least 3500 to 5000 hrs of Helicopter flying experience including 1000 hrs as PIC with IR.
For the Helicopter Pilot and Flight Engineer post, the Pilots should have valid license in CHPL or ATPL. They must possess an accident/ incident free flying record.
Experience required for Pawan Hans Vacancies:

Age Restrictions on Manager Positions:
The age limit of the Assistant and Deputy General Manager Position is capped to 45 years, 30 years for Manager Posts and 50 years GM (Operations), JGM (Operations Administration).
This restricted age can be allowed to relaxed upto 3 years for OBC category candidate and 5 years for SC/ ST category as per the government ordinance.

During the MCF (Machine Conversion Familiarization) period (till passing DGCA exam) the trainees will receive a stipend of Rs.15000/-. After clearing the exam, for the 1 year they will get fixed of Rs.50000/-, Rs.60000/- in the 2nd year and 75000/- in the 3rd year.
Whereas, the flight engineer will receive a Fixed emolument of Rs.42000/- and the minimum assured STA for qualified Engineer is Rs.52675/- per month.
Additionally, the Managers and engineer are deserved to get benefits like travel and dearness allowance, industrial allowance and other allowances as per Pawan Hans’s orders.
