Educational Qualification: Any graduates can apply for this Parliamentary Reporter job. But he/ she should possess the technical skill of Shorthand in English/ Hindi (160 w.p.m.). The qualifying examination results must be declared on or before last date of application submission.

Recruitment Process: Skill, knowledge related tests and interview shall be arranged by recruiting organization for hiring suitable persons. Good marks in skill test and interview will help contestants to enter into the Reporter jobs under Parliament of India. But qualifying in written exam is also important.
- Stenography Test: Eligible appliers shall only get admit cards to participate in this test. Maximum time will vary based on English (1 hour 30 minutes)/ Hindi (1 hour 55 minutes) category.

- Minimum 5% errors is acceptable
- Written Examination: Aspirants who are succeeding in Skill Test shall only be called for written test. Time given will be 50 minutes, to answer for 100 one word type questions. The subjects are,
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs (50 marks)
- General English (50 marks)
- Personal Interview: Based on written test marks candidates will be shortlisted and invited for interview process of selection. Depending upon category the minimum qualifying marks will vary. The Interview will be conducted only for 10 marks.
If deserving number of leading contestants does not exist, then management will see for candidates who had secured atleast 50% marks in written test or 140 w.p.m. shorthand skilled personnel’s, for appointment.
But within 1 year of joining, management will organise the same tests for relaxed candidates at prescribed standards. Candidates who are disqualifying shall get terminated or annual increment will not be done for such persons.
Pay Scale and Salary: The Parliamentary Reporter Grade-II appointees shall get salary on monthly basis in a level-10 standard. Besides, other allowances and benefits would also be given as per recruitment norms of organization.
