OPSC Recruitment 2017

State government had set up OPSC and given powers to conduct Civil Services examination as well as other direct recruitment, for doing entry-level appointments in Odisha government establishments. This time, Commission is going to select staffs for the Insurance Medical Officer posts under Employees State Insurance Medical Services cadre under Labour & ESI Department. Those who wish to indulge in this permanent post can apply for this OPSC recruitment 2017, from third week of March onwards. Contestants with good academic percentage, character and physique shall get hired after one recruitment based exam. On selection, he/ she will serve as a Group-A Officer under Junior branch of the relevant cadre.

Necessary Education: From any government approved Medical College, aspirants must have finished their Doctor level qualification and should hold valid MCI registration certificate.

Degree obtained from foreign universities is also acceptable, but appliers have to submit necessary conversion certificate for that.

Age Limit: After completion of those studies, candidates who had attained 21 years of age will fits for this recruitment. But citizens above 32 years are not needed. So, before applying it’s better to compute your ages as on 1st January 2017.

Commission is also in an idea of giving concessions to some deserving categories, following government orders.

Selection Process: In Cuttack, Commission will conduct one written examination for finding apt persons for this Insurance Medical Officer post. Later, on seeing written exam marks and doing career assessment weightages will be fixed for preparing merit list.

Provisionally selected persons will be further called for original Document Verification. Before appointment, medical examination would also be done by Board to check fitness.
