Qualifications Required for NRSC Recruitment

Aspirants who intend to apply for the designation of Junior Research Fellow should have possessed B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech/ M.Sc Agriculture Degree/ similar qualification from any recognised institution. Preference will be provided to the contenders who are qualified in NET or equivalent examination.

Age Restriction and Relaxation

The upper age limit of the individuals is fixed at 28 years, which is reckoned as on 16th December 2016. The age limit allotted is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC category. Age relaxation is also applicable for PWD and Ex-servicemen as per Government of India orders.

Selection Procedure

Emoluments for Junior Research Fellow

Junior Research Fellows will be initially engaged for a period of two years, at that period they carries an amount of Rs.25000/- per month as salary. In addition, appointees are eligible for medical benefits, leave, HRA as per the rules of NRSC.

Also, there is a possibility for increment up to an amount of Rs.28000/- after two years. It will be decided by the review committee based on successful completion and review of research work.
