ISRO-NRSC Recruitment 2016:
ISRO-NRSC is inviting applications from Indian Nationals to engage them in different projects. The duration of the engagement shall be initially for a period of one year, it may be extendable up to the validity of the project. The maximum duration of the project will be up to 5 years. After appointment, the appointees will be posted in Jodhpur, Nagpur and Hyderabad.

NRSC is a key functionary of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). They are striving to release the Indian Space Vision through Earth Observation. NRSC is responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programmes through Satellite Data Acquisition, Archival, Processing, Dissemination, Application projects, Training and Capacity Building. NRSC also provides Aerial Survey services for various scientific applications.

Education for Research Fellow Post:
Applier’s for the post of Research Fellow in ISRO NRSC should have completed M.E/ M.Tech in field of Remote Sensing/ atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Hydrology or related to those subjects after B.E or B.Tech. Or else the candidates should have possessed M.Sc in field of Physics/ Remote Sensing& GIS/ Meteorology/ Agriculture/ related other subjects.
Persons applying for the above mentioned position should be a first class in their qualification with minimum score of 60 to 65%. Aspirants should be qualified in NET examination or equivalent to that.
Experience Necessary for Research Fellow Post:
M.Sc degree holders in field of Agriculture should have working knowledge in soil sampling and Analysis/ Spatial data analysis. Aspirants holding degree in Engineering should have knowledge in programming languages such as FORTRAN, C, C++, Java, MATLAB, Python, Open CV and CNL etc.
Age Limitation for Research Fellow Post:
Maximum age limit of the applier’s for the post of Junior Research Fellow is 28 years as on the closing date of online application. In case of SC/ ST candidates, the age is relaxed up to 5 years and for OBC, the age relaxation is up to 3 years.
As per the Government rules, the age relaxation is applicable to the individuals who are belonging to the category of Ex-servicemen, Widows and Divorced women.
Selection Process Fallowed by ISRO-NRSC:
ISRO-NRSC selects the aspirants by interview process. Before interview, short listing will be done based on the percentage of marks. The interview will be conducted at Hyderabad, which is scheduled in June, 2016.
Call letters for interview shall be sent by e-mail to shortlisted candidates. Participants of the interview should produce all original certificates (from 10th standard) and one set of self attested photo copies for verification process.
Current employees should produce “No Objection Certificate” in original, relevant certificates of interviewees who belong to the category of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen. For shortest route attendees train fare will be provided.
Emoluments Applicable for Appointees in ISRO-NRSC:
Designees for the post of Junior Research Fellow in ISRO-NRSC will receive a consolidated pay of Rs.25000/- . In addition to that, the designators will also receive House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Present rates of HRA for the appointed candidates in Hyderabad are 30 % and 20 % for Jodhpur and Nagpur. After the successful completion of 2 years, those individuals are awarded to the position of Senior Research Fellow and provided with a salary increment of Rs.28000/- plus HRA.

Candidates need to upload the graduate and post graduate mark sheets. Year/ Semester wise mark sheets are uploaded in case; the mark sheets are not issued by the University. Final year students who are waiting for results are not eligible to apply.
