NPL Recruitment 2016 Walk-in Interview for Skilled Manpower, Assistant, JRF & Other Jobs. National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is a measurement standard laboratory which was started by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It is headquartered at New Delhi. This lab is in urgent requirement of innovative and research oriented project staffs to serve on their ongoing projects. So, they have planned to organize a floating walk-in interview for selecting the right candidate for their projects. According to the Recruitment notification, nearly 18 positions are going to be engaged. Those who desire to attain these positions should qualify in the interview. Selected professionals will be recruited under different time bound projects. The project staffs who have worked for atleast 2 years can register for PhD programs. Enthusiastic persons are encouraged to appear for the interview.

Aspirants who are applying for the NPL Job should have completed BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Computer science/ IT/ ECE/ Electronics/ M.Sc in Physics/ PhD or any similar qualification from a recognized university or institute. Those who are petitioning for the PA job should hold a valid GATE/ NET qualification.
Required Experience for NPL Recruitment
Individuals who are applying for the NPL Jobs must possess prior work experience in web application, uncertainty analysis/ metrology/ statistical analysis/ optical fiber based instrumentation, material and devices, thin film works, etc.
Age Limitation on NPL Job
The upper age limit of the candidates who are applying for the Skilled Manpower, project fellow & JRF post is freezed to 28 years, 30 years for PA-II post, 35 years for PA-III & RA post and 32 years for the other NPL Job.
Age relaxation can be granted upto 5 years for Project staffs/ SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category as per government ordinance.
Interview Procedures for NPL Recruitment 2016
Job Hunters who are fulfilling all the terms and conditions of NPL Recruitment 2016 may appear for the walk-in interview drive on the specified date and time. While appearing for the interview, the applicants should carry necessary documents in original and Xerox form for the purpose of verification.
To and fro allowance will not be paid for contestants who are appearing for the interview. The interviewer will judge the performance by his or her communication skills, research knowledge, outlook, etc.
Emoluments for NPL Appointees
The selected candidates will be engaged in their current projects for a period as mentioned in the above table. However, a project staff can serve for a maximum period of 5 years in that project.
During this tenure, the NPL Appointees will receive remuneration ranging between Rs.15000 to 36000/- pm. Besides the basic pay, the appointees are liable to get house rent allowances, leave, medical facilities, etc as per NPL rules.
