NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2016 – Apply for 10 Trainee Engineer Vacancies. A recruitment advertisement has been rolled out by National Institute of Technology (NIT) located at Meghalaya, which invites applications from fresh Engineering graduates for the post of Trainee Engineer. NIT prefers candidates who are having interest in learning and commitment to work, for the recruitment drive. Since the recruitment is based on contract, the appointees will be engaged for a period of 18 months as Trainee in NIT.

NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2016:

Ten members are needed for the above mentioned position. In each of the departments they require two Trainee Engineers. Applicants are selected either only by Interview or written examination followed by interview.

Essential Qualifications for the recruitment in NIT:

Interested candidates who are applying for the post mentioned above should have completed First class degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Degree possessed by the aspirants in any one of the disciplines of Engineering such as Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Civil and Mechanical are most desirable.
2015 pass out freshers and the candidates who are waiting for final year results are also eligible to apply.

Job Responsibilities of appointees in NIT:

Appointed candidates will be entailed as an assistant for the faculty members while they are conducting practical classes and academic works. Authorities of the Institution also assign duties to the aspirants from time to time.

Selection Method in NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2016:

The applications received from candidates are screened initially by NIT selection team. If the number of applications received is large, the Institute will conduct written test for the candidates.

Based on the performance during the time of written examination, the candidates are shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview.

Finally the candidates are selected by interview. Only interview will be conducted for the aspirants, in case of the applications received is less in number.

Remuneration for appointees in NIT:

The appointees for the post of Trainee Engineer in NIT recruitment 2016 will receive a fixed salary of Rs.15000/- per month.

After the successful completion of training the Trainee will be awarded by the certificate. Candidates itself can arrange their own accommodation and food during the training period.

Application form along with the supporting documents in sealed envelope should be sent to the following address “The Assistant Registrar (Estt.), NIT Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong-793003” on or before 15th June, 2016.

The envelope containing application form along with self-attested certificates should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Trainee Engineer in the department of____________”.
