NIAM Recruitment 2016 Walk-in Interview for 15 JRF & Young Professional Posts. A career advertisement has been broadcasted by National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management (NIASM) over their recruitment site with the goal of hiring mastered and devoted graduates to engage in the position of JRFs and Young Professional for a Short term period. NIASM conducts researches related to the stress (Atmospheric, Edaphic and Drought) which degrades the production of crops. The vacancies indicated against each position may differ, depending on the needs of NIASM. The deserving JRFs and Professional will be chosen by means of walk-in interview only. The selected individuals will be placed at ICAR-NIASM, Malegon, Baramati, Pune for a period of 12 months. But can be stretched out upto a maximum duration not more than 2 years. Essential Qualification for NIASM Post
The desirable qualification for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post is M.Sc Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Agrometerology/ Agricultural Physics/ Agricultural Statistics / Geo Informatics or any equivalent or M.Tech in Engineering / Agriculture from a reputed university.
In the same way, for the young professional-I post, the supplicants should be a Graduate in Fisheries Science/ Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry/ allied basic science / Applied Microbiology / Horticulture or B.Sc in Agricultural Biotechnology or B.Tech or M.V.Sc & A.H.
A post Graduate in Fish and Fisheries Science/ Environmental Sciences/ Animal Biotechnology/ Fish Nutrition and Biochemistry/ Applied Microbiology or M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialty in Agronomy / Plant Physiology / Soil Science or M.V.Sc in Animal Nutrition etc are eligible for Young Professional-II post.
Age Restraints on NIASM Vacancies
The upper age limit for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is capped to 35 years. The age of the petitioners who are applying for the young Professional post should be between 21 to 45 years. The age of the candidate will be calculated as on the date of the interview.
Age relaxation is permitted upto 3 years for the OBC category, 5 years for the SC/ ST category and 10 years for the PWD candidates in accordance with the rules furnished by Government.
NIASM Interview Procedures
The NIAM Recruitment is purely based upon the performance of contenders at the interview. Aspirants who are meeting the needs of NIASM may appear for the interview which will take place on the prearranged dates.
Participants who are taking part in the viva voice should carry their supporting documents and application forms in the prescribed format. At the time of interview, the interviewer will scrutinize the performance of the interviewee through his / her attitude, communication skills, work knowledge, etc.
Consolidated Salary Paid for NIASM Employees
The individuals hired by the NIASM shall be based at ICAR-NIASM, Malegaon, Baramati, Pune. These engagements are non permanent yet can be continued depending upon the requirements or satisfactory services of the appointees.
In the meantime, the one who is recruited as JRF shall be paid an emolument of Rs.25000/- per month for the first two years and Rs.28000/- pm for the 3rd year. The young professional – I will get a consolidated pay of Rs.15000/- pm and Rs.25000/- pm for the Young Professional-II. Apart from this pay, the designee are permissible for House rent allowance and other benefits as per the norms of NIASM.

Attach the self attested documents of Requisite mark sheets, age proof, educational certificates and any other supporting documents. Nonetheless, the contestants should submit the original print for the above documents.
