Citizens who are working in the Union Territory/ Autonomous/ Statutory Bodies/ PSUs or any Governmental/ Semi-Governmental organization on similar or equivalent post can submit their applications for this NCRPB recruitment, through their current employer (if interested). Performance appraisal of incumbent will be checked every year and if the superiors are satisfied, he/ she may be allowed to work upto 3 to 5 years in NCRPB projects. Educational Qualification for NCRPB Vacancy

Applying Officers must possess qualifications like B.Arch/ B.E. (Civil)/ Bachelor of Planning/ M.A. (Geography) and PG Degree in Urban/ Regional Planning subject from any government approved institution, to get considered for Chief Regional Planner post in NCRPB.

Chief Regional Planner Post Essential Experience

The total years of experience required to enter into Chief Regional Planner designation is 15 years, on town & regional planning field. Among this, atleast for 2 or 6 years they must have worked in the regular government service on concerned salary scale (or) should have worked on any analogous posts in the parent cadre/ department.

Age Limit

The age limit to apply for this deputation basis Chief Regional Planner post is 56 years. The date for calculating upper age is 26th December 2016.

Remuneration of Chief Regional Planner Post

NCRPB has decided to give a Pay Band-4 salary of Rs.37400 – 67000/- and a Grade Pay of Rs.8900/- to the individual who is selected for Chief Regional Planner position.

Application Fee for Chief Regional Planner Post in NCRPB

Officers have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-, for Chief Regional Planner post in NCRPB. This non-refundable fee can be submitted in the form of IPO/ bank draft, drawn in name of “NCR Planning Board”.

The standard format of application is given in official website of NCRPB “”. Download the blank proforma and duly fill it with correct information. One passport size photograph, bank draft and self attested copies of Educational Qualification, Birth, Experience, Caste, etc. should also be enclosed together with application.

Other documents to be attached along with these enclosures are photocopies of Cadre Clearance, ACR/ APAR of last 5 years, Integrity & Vigilance Clearance certificate, Minor/ Major penalties imposed, etc (certified by present employer/ Head of Office).

Sent these attachments to “Member Secretary, NCR Planning Board, 1st Floor, Core-IV B, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110 003” through proper channel, by superscribing the “Post Applied for_____________” on top of envelope.
