Qualifications Required for Tradesmen Posts
For the posts of Tradesmen Skilled, persons applying must have completed Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Institute or board with knowledge of English. And also those candidates should have finished apprentice/ craftsman training in concerned trade.
Upper Age Limit Assigned for Tradesmen Posts
Individuals applying against NAD recruitment notification for the above mentioned Tradesman posts must have attained a maximum age limit between 18 to 25 years. The age limit will be calculated as on the closing date of the submission of the applications.
The age relaxation will be granted for the reserved categories is in the order of 5 years for SC/ ST, meritorious sports persons, 3 years for OBC category and 10 years for PWD candidates.
Those individuals will further undergo relaxation based on their category and also for Ex-servicemen age relaxation will be allowed according to their years of service.
Selection Methodology in NAD
Applicants who are eager to join in Indian Army for the above mentioned NAD jobs will be recruited on the basis of merit obtained in the written examination. Filtration or short listing procedure will be done if the number of applications received is too large.
NAD Examination Syllabus
The written examination will consists of questions from General knowledge, Aptitude and topics/ subjects relevant to the essential qualifications prescribed for the post.
Salary Scale for NAD Employees
Candidates who are employed under Non-Industrial posts will accept the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with additional grade pay of Rs.4200/- as per the NAD Recruitment rules. A pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- will be received by the employees under the Tradesman Skilled positions with grade pay of Rs.1900/-.
