NABI Recruitment 2016 – Walk-in Interview for Project Scientist Position. National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is a self governed Research & Development Institution under the Department of Biotechnology is looking for young and research oriented professional for occupying the unfilled positions of Project Scientists on fixed time basis. NABI is presently implementing a project on Banana which is sponsored by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Professionals, who have published their research works on any famous journal, are more preferred. Candidates who are having research experience in their respective fields are eligible to apply for NABI Recruitment 2016 through proper channel.

Passionate aspirants, who are eager to work on this project, may take part in the interview which will be conducted on the specified date and time. The selected candidates shall be posted on temporary basis for a period of approximately 2 months or till the completion of project. Designees will be working on areas of Plant Metabolic Engineering, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics.

Necessary Qualification for NABI Positions
Ph.D holders who have submitted their thesis in any branch of life/ plant sciences with relevant research publications in reputed international journals are eligible to appear for NABI Recruitment 2016.
Experience Required for NABI Positions
The appliers should have research experience in domains related to plant metabolic engineering, molecular engineering, in-silico analysis, molecular biology and bioinformatics, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry to apply for the NABI’s Project Scientists Job.
Age Restriction on NABI Vacancies
The age of the contenders should not exceed 35 years for the project Scientist vacancy. The age of the aspirant will be computed as on the date of interview.
NABI Interview Process
Aspirants who measure up to the standards of NABI Recruitment may appear for the walk-in interview which will be held on the already fixed date and time. The contenders should bring essential documents and publication for the purpose of checking.
After document verification, eligible candidates will be allowed to take part in the interview. The interviewer will judge the performance by his or her attitude, interaction skills, research knowledge, etc.
Remuneration for NABI Positions
Well suited candidates will be appointed as Project Scientist in the above mentioned banana project. The duration of the position shall be upto November 2016 or till the halting of projects.
Meantime, the personnel who are recruited on NABI’s Positions will get a consolidated pay of Rs.40000/- per month. Moreover, the post also carries leave, medical facilities and other benefits as per NABI ordinance.
