Qualification Required for Accountant Vacancies
Applicants who wish to start their career in MECL for the post of Accountant should have completed graduate or post graduate degree from any recognized University. And also the candidates should be passed in CA/ ICWA.
Age Ceiling of MECL Recruitment
The Ceiling age of the aspirants who are applying for Accountant position in MECL is 30 years, reckoned as on 31st May, 2016. For PWD candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 10 years for general category, 15 years for SC/ ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL category.
And also 5 years of age relaxation is applicable for domiciled candidates in Jammu and Kashmir, 20 years for internal candidates and relaxation to ex-servicemen will also be provided as per Government guidelines.

Salary Paid for MECL Employees
Appointees for the post of Accountant in MECL will receive a pay scale of Rs.9500 to 24800/-. Besides the basic pay, the designees will also receive the extra benefit of dearness allowance, HRA, PF, Group insurance, Medical Facilities and allowances including 30% of basic pay cafeteria allowance and 23% of basic pay as fringe benefit.
