Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) is an Organization, which is working under the Department of Health and Family Welfare. KSAPS is coordinating a ‘Walk-In Interview’ drive to engage them in various medical related postings.

Academic qualifications for Various Posts in KSAPS

Applicants for the designations of Epidemiologist, Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer in KSAPS should have completed MBBS, MD or any clinical Discipline.

Masters degree in Demography/ Statistics/ Population Sciences/ Computer Applications is most essential for the post of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. Candidates who wish to apply for the posts of Assistant Director (ICTC) and District ICTC Supervisor should have possessed Post graduate degree in psychology/ Social work/ Sociology/ Clinical psychology from any recognized University.

For remaining other designations, applier’s must be graduate degree holders under the discipline of Finance & Account/ Commerce/ Pharmacy. For the post of Pharmacist, he/ she must be registered in the concerned state pharmacy council. Data Manager’s should possess Diploma in computer applications.

Experience Required for KSAPS Recruitment

Senior Medical Officer’s should possess 3 years of experience, for KSAPS Recruitment, 2016. And also the same experience is needed for the positions of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, District ICTC Supervisor and Pharmacist.

Three to five years of experience is needed for the designation of Financial Assistant. For the position of Assistant Director, applicants must hold 2 years of relevant experience. Epidemiologists should have past experience of working in HIV/ AIDS programme or projects under Government or bilateral agencies of India.

Candidates applying for the positions of District ICTC Supervisor should have working knowledge of computer, valid driving license and willingness to travel to peripheral levels in a district.

KSAPS Recruitment Age Limitation

The maximum age limit of the candidates who are applying for above mentioned positions in KSAPS is not more than 62 years as on the date of applying.

Selection Technique Followed by KSAPS

Interested candidates are selected in KSAPS by interview. If the attendees appearing for interview are more than 10, then they will decide to conduct the written test (Excluding Medical Officers).

The participants of interview must produce the filled-in application form along with the enclosures of certificates which include age proof, educational qualification and experience. Depending on the interviewee performance they are chosen and appointed.

KSAPS Recruitment Walk-In Interview Venue

Walk-In Interview will be commenced at the venue of ”Office of the Project Director, C.V. Raman General Hospital, 2nd Floor, 80 feet Road, Indiranagar, Bengaluru-38” at 12.00 Noon.
