Minimum Qualification for KMIO Posts
The candidates who are applying for the Assistant professor, Surgeons & Physicist must have persuaded MBBS with Masters Degree in Pathology/ Radiology/ Paediatrics/ Immunology/ Immuni-Haematology & Blood Transfusion/ Medical Oncology from a recognized university.
For the Assistant Professor (Radiation Physics) Posts, the applicants should possess M.Sc degree in the concern subject with PhD.
Experience Details for KMIO Position
Along with the above qualification the applicant should hold post qualification teaching experience of at least 3 years in a reputed medical college as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ tutor/ Professor.
Age Constraints for KMIO Posts
The age limit is set according to the existing norms of KMIO. You can refer the details regarding age limits through the official site.
The age relaxation for the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD category will be considered by the screening committee with reference to the orders of KMIO.
KMIO’s Recruitment Process
The documents send by the candidates will be verified and the short listing will be done by means of qualification and experience. Selected candidates will be intimated through email. KMIO will select the individuals by direct recruitment process, which will be either written test or interview.
Pay Scale for KMIO Vacancy
The candidates selected as assistant professor will be recruitment in the concern discipline with attractive salary. The person working as assistant professor will get a pay as per the AICTE scale of Rs.15600 to 39100/- per month with a grade pay of Rs.8000/-.
The Assistant Surgeons and physicist will receive salary as per the pay scale of Rs.28100 to 50100/- per month.
Application fee for KMIO posts
The application fee can be paid by Demand Draft only. The applicants belonging to general merit category have to remit Rs.2000/- and Rs.500/- for the SC/ ST/Category-I in the form of bank draft, in favor of the “Director, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore-560029”.
Applying Procedure for KMIO Recruitment
Interested staffs can download the official notification and find the prescribed application form attached to it. Take the print out of the form and duly fill it with necessary details required.
Glue a recent passport size photo on the form and enclose the self attested copies of Caste certificate, degree certificate, validity certificate, age proof, experience certificate, etc and to the above address o or before the last date.
