About Karnataka Bank Clerk Exam
A recently updated notification of Karnataka Bank claims the need of human resources for Clerk posts in its Offices. Total vacancies are not mentioned, but Degree holders on Arts / Commerce/ Science/ Computer Application / Business Administration / Management subjects are found eligible if they had not exceeded 26 years. Other eligibility criteria required to acquire this position is Language proficiency (Hindi & English) and Computer knowledge.
To check the working ability, initially appointees will be placed on probation and if superiors are satisfied with their performance he/ she can continue up to a minimum period of 3 years. Online Examination and Personal Interview are the selection modes planned for this recruitment, which are explained on below section.
Karnataka Bank Clerk Exam Pattern
In the month of February 2017, this Computer based exam is going to be conducted. Exam will be conducted on any of the centers like Ahmedabad/ Bagalkot/ Ballari/ Belagavi, etc. Multiple choice questions would be asked on this test from topics like Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
From each section about 40 questions will be asked and for each right answer participant will get 1 mark. Qualifying marks are set for each section separately. Interview Process of Karnataka Bank Clerk Recruitment
Top scorers in exam will get an intimation to participate in the Interview process of selection, with original and attested photocopies of requisite credentials. Eventually, Medical Examination would be done for selected candidates. Only if they are found medically fit (as per bank standards), he/ she will get appointed in vacant Clerk posts. It is notable that, competitors in test/ interview will not get journey fare.
