ITBP Recruitment 2016 Apply for 104 Constable Vacancies. Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is a specialized mountain force carrying numerous rescue and relief operations. Qualifications Required to Apply for ITBP Recruitment 2016
To fulfill the eligibility for the designation of Constable in ITBP, applicants should have possessed the minimum qualification of Matriculation or 10th class from any recognized board or equivalent.
Age Limitation and Relaxation
Applicants must have attained the maximum age limit between 18 to 23 years as per the ITBP Recruitment notification. Cut-off date for determining the age limit is on 31st October 2016.
The age limit is granted for the reserved category in the order of 5 years for SC/ ST/ Departmental candidates/ persons affected in riots/ persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir and 3 years for OBC category.
ITBP Recruitment Process
Candidates, who have applied against ITBP Recruitment, are required to produce the original documents for initial verification. After that, they are subject to physical endurance test and physical standard test.
Physically fitted individuals shortlisted from above tests are called for trial test. At the end of the selection process, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of sports achievements, performance in trial test and technical opinion of the trial test board.
ITBP Appointees Salary Scale
Persons who have successfully completed all the above selection stages are appointed in the designation of Constable and they are provided with a pay roll of Rs.21700-69100/- as per 7th CPC.
The Post will also carries dearness allowance, special compensatory allowance, free accommodation, transport allowance, medical facilities, ration money, uniform etc. The posts will also be covered under Restructured Defined Contribution Pension scheme.
How to Apply for ITBP Jobs
Desirable and interested candidates shall route your applications duly filled in Hindi or English through postal mode. The application must be in the prescribed format as per the Annexure-I.
Filled in application form by own hand writing or neatly typed should be affixed with a passport size photograph and enclosed with the self attested copies of testimonials.
The documents to be attached are certificates related to qualifications, age, sports achievements, domicile, caste, latest passport size photograph, relaxation certificate as per Annexure ’V’, application fee and two self addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs.5/-.

Application/ Exam fee for Constable Vacancies
Candidates belonging to general and OBC category shall be required to pay an amount of Rs.100/- as application fee. No fee will be charged for aspirants claiming under SC/ ST/ Female category.
The cost of medical re-examination is Rs.25/-. The application fee and exam fee must be in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO), which is drawn in favor of DIG, BTC, ITBP.
