IICB Recruitment 2016 Walk-in Interview for Project Assistant Post. CSIR- Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB), a research institute which operates below the Ministry of Science & Technology is in need of highly talented and committed youngsters to employ in the position of Project Assistant for a time bound period.
Aspirants who have sufficient knowledge in biological samples for Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) are desirable for this post. Engineering students are more preferable for IICB Recruitment. Those who aspire to work below listed project should qualify in the walk-in interview which will take place on the fixed date.

Project Name: “Understanding and Designing the SupraMolecular Ensembles and Machines (UNSEEN)”
Qualification Required for IICB Career
Applicants who are willing to apply for IICB Career as a Project Assistant position must have obtained BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree in the Electronics & Communication/ Electrical/ Instrumentation / Mechanical with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from any reputed university or institution.
Work Experience for Project Assistant Post
Individuals having prior work experience in handling TEM machines or samples/ grids, knowledge in biological samples for TEM and operating cryo-TEM/ TEM machines.
Age Constraints on IICB positions
The maximum age limit fixed by the IICB for the candidates appearing for the IICB Recruitment interview will be 30 years. The age of the applicants shall be computed as on 4th August 2016.
The upper age limit can be relaxed upto 3 years for OBC category, 5 years for SC/ ST/ Women candidates and 10 years for the PWD category as per the existing orders of government in effect.
Screening Process for IICB Posts
Candidates who are satisfying the eligibility criteria stated for IICB Recruitment may take part in the walk-in Interview which will be held on the concern date as given below. The contestants should carry the supporting documents and a detailed application on the date of interview.
After verifying the documents, the supplicants found to be eligible will be asked to appear for the interview. Based on the contestant’s performance at the interview, the final appointment shall be decided.
Stipend for Project Assistant Post
The selectees will be engaged on the temporary positions for a specific period, which can be expanded further, depending upon the needs or fulfilling services of the appointees.
While working on the above project, the candidates appointed as project assistant will receive a stipend of Rs.25000/- per month and shall also be entitled for house rent allowances as per the norms issued by IICB.

The contestants should hold the self attested and original prints of Matriculation certificate, Degree/ Diploma certificate, No objection certificate (from current employer), BE or B.Tech or Equivalent Certificates and One Passport size photograph while appear for the interview.
