ICFRE IFB Recruitment 2016 Walk-in Interview for JRF and PA Jobs. Institute of Forest Biodiversity (IFB) Hyderabad, a research oriented Institute which functions below the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE) is searching for vibrant and skillful aspirants to occupy the vacant place of JRFs, Assistants and Mali Positions on provisory basis and lead their new projects to success.
Currently, IFB has involved in 5 different projects which is about the Biological enhancement in different areas. Graduates who are applying for these positions should have basic knowledge in Computer and Statistics.

Essential Qualification for IFB Posts
The desirable qualification required to apply for the JRF position is First Class degree in M.Sc Forestry with specialization in Tree improvement/ Genetics & Tree Breeding/ Silviculture or M.Sc Agriculture in Plant Genetics & Breeding or M.Sc degree in Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Environmental Science or any relevant field.
To apply for the Project Assistant Post, the applicant should hold First Class B.Sc Degree in Forestry/ Entomology/ Botany/ Agriculture from a recognized university.
Lastly, for the Mali post, the candidates must have passed 10th or any equivalent qualification form a well known Board or institute.
Work Experience needed for IFB Posts
IFB expects research work experience in aquatic environment sampling & analysis, field & Laboratory works from any institute or organization with proficiency in computer and statistics. For the Mali Post, the applicants must have involved in plant nursery works.
Age Relaxation on IFB Vacancies
The upper age limit of the person who is applying for IFB posts is curbed to 28 years. The important date for reckoning the age of the applicant will be 1st July 2016. This age can be permitted to relax upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST or OBC candidates.
IFB Recruitment Procedure
The selection will be made through written test or interview. Eligible candidates have to appear for the interview and are advised to report at 9.00 AM in the IFB, Conference Hall. Candidates must bring the self attested certificates and testimonials at the time of interview for verification.
Participants proving to be eligible will be allowed to attend the interview. The interviewer will judge the interviewee based on his/ her attitude, research knowledge, interactive skills etc.
Stipends for JRFs, PA & Mali
The appointed persons will have to work on a contract period initially for one year which can be continued till the halting of project works or as per requirements. While working in IBF’s Projects, the candidate employing as JRF will get a stipend of Rs.12000/- per month and Rs.8500/- for the Project Assistant and Mali Post as per the existing norms of IBF.
