Project Title for NIASM Recruitment 2016:

Qualification for JRF and Young Professional Posts:
The requisite qualification for JRF positions is M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Plant Physiology/ Agricultural Physics etc or M.Sc in Biochemistry/ Geoinformatics or B.Tech in Agri. Engineering. In addition to this qualification the applicant should hold valid NET score card.
If you are applying for the SRF post, the minimum qualification is Post Graduation in any one of the above mentioned specialization.
Aspirants who are applying for the Young Professional position must have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience & Skills required for NIASM Positions:
To apply for the JRF post, the applicants must possess experience in biochemical analysis of plants, Knowledge of statistical analysis, data analysis and remote sensing software.
Candidates with 2 years of experience in controlled environment facilities, screening crop genotypes, etc can apply for the SRF positions.
If you are applying for the Young professional position, the applier should have knowledge about Agricultural Machineries, SCADA and maintenance of AC.
For all the above positions, the applicant should have excellent knowledge over Computer operations.
Age relaxation on ICAR-NIASM Vacancies:
The maximum age limit to apply for NIASAM vacancies is capped to 35 year. The upper age limits can be relaxed by OBC candidates’ upto 3 years and 5 years for the applicants belonging to the SC/ ST/ Women candidates. The age will be computed as on 30th June 2016.
Selection mode for NIASM Recruitment 2016:
The selection process will be based on viva voice. The eligible aspirants have to be present at the venue earlier before the interview. Travel allowance will not be paid for attending the interview. The supporting documents have to be submitted to the selection committee for validation.
The suitable person will be allowed to appear for the interview. The selection committee will judge the candidate by experience, work knowledge, communication skills etc. The final decision for the appointment of candidates will be made by the director of NIASAM institute.
Emoluments for JRF and Young Professional positions:
The well suited candidates selected by the NIASM authorities will be based at the units of ICAR-NIASM, Malegaon, Baramati, Pune (Dist.). The JRF will receive a salary of Rs.25000/- per month for the first 2 years and will receive Rs.28000/- from the 3rd year onwards.
The SRF will get an emolument of Rs.25000/- per month and the young professional will get Rs.15000/- per month for the 1st year.
Apart from the basic pay, the appointees are deserved to get 10% House Rent Allowances.
