Essential Qualification for Non Teaching Post
Candidates holding Bachelor’s/ Diploma Degree in General nursing/ physiotherapy/ Multipurpose Health Worker are eligible to apply for the Staff Nurse or Physiotherapist or Multipurpose Health Worker position.
Those who are applying for the Coaches position, the applicant should have completed BA/ MA in Physical Education with Diploma in Coaching from NIS in the respective game and must have participated in Inter-University/Senior National/ Federation Cup tournament.
To apply for the Sl.No. 5 to 7 Positions, the candidates must have persuaded in BA/ BCA/ B.Com/ B.SC in Computer Science or Economics or any similar qualification with 50% marks in aggregate.
Those who are applying for the foreman, Ward supervisor and pump driver position, the candidates must have passed matriculation level with certification course in ITI or Diploma or any equivalent course in the relevant field.
To apply for the life saver post, the applicant should have atleast passed in 10th, 12th form any recognized board with participation in state or national level swimming competition.
Experience Required for Non Teaching Posts
Besides the above qualifications, the candidates must have worked in any government aided hospitals or any institution or any organizations for minimum 2 to 8 years.
GNDU’s Mode of Screening Process
After validating the applications submitted by the candidates, the eligible person will be shortlisted for the written test. The intimation for the written exam will be through email or sms. Candidates who clear the written exam have to appear for the skill test. Qualifying candidates will be invited for the personal interview.
Here, the candidates will be judged on the basis of communication skills, attitude and work knowledge. The screened candidates will be added to the empanelment list.
Salary Structure for Non Teaching Posts
The highly qualified candidates will be appointed in the appropriate designations. The salary provided for the Sl.No. 1 to 7 positions will be as per the pay scale of Rs. 10300 to 34800/- per month with a grade pay between Rs.3200 to 4600/-.
The salary provided for the remaining post will be Rs.5910 to 20200/- per month with a grade pay between Rs.1900 to 2800/- as per the guidelines of GNDU.
Application Fee for GNDU Posts
The fee payment should be made in the form of challan, which will be generated after the online registration. The applicants belonging to the general/ OBC category have to pay Rs.800/- and Rs.400/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. The application fee has to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of Patiala (SBOP) before the last date.
How to Apply Steps for GNDU Posts
Eligible candidates can visit GNDU’s website and register your personal details by using the registration link. You will have to submit the details like Name, age, educational details, Reservation details, scanned copies of Photo and signature.
Once you have completed your registration an application form and an e-challan slip will be generated. Download and take the printout of the bank slip can make the payment. Once your payment is confirmed download the application form.
Take two copies of the application form (on for your reference and another form has to be send) and affix a recent passport size photo (which you have uploaded on the online form) and attach the duly signed copies of Educational certificate, experience, community certificate, Bank Challan, etc and sent these documents to “The Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar-143005”, Punjab.
