Post Wise Details for ESIC
Requisite Qualification for Teaching Posts
Professionals, who are eager to work as Professors & Associate Professor in ESIC should have persuaded Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery or any equivalent qualification with post Graduation / Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
For the Assistant Professor post, the applicant should hold a Master Degree in Dental Surgery from an India University or DNB or MD/ MS or any equivalent qualification.
Experience Required for ESIC Posts
In addition to the above qualification, the applier should hold 4 to 5 years of teaching experience in any recognized institute or university.
Age Limitations on ESIC Vacancies
The age limit for the candidates who are applying for the ESIC Teaching Positions is freezed to 67 years. The important date for considering the age of the applicant is 7th July 2016. This freezed age can be relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC category and 10 years for PWD candidates.
ESIC’s Interview Process
Selection of suitable personnel will be made by interview process. At the time of walk-in interview, the applications and testimonials submitted by the individuals will be verified. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to participate in the interview process.
Based on candidates experience and performance at the interview the final selection will be made. The result of the viva-voice will be publicized on the ESIC’s Website.
Pay For Teaching Faculties
The selected candidates will be appointed on temporary positions initially for a period of one year which can be extended further based on the candidate’s performance.
The person enrolling in the position of Professor will be paid as per the pay band-4 with a grade pay of Rs.8700/- per month, pay band-3 with a grade pay of Rs.7600/-for Associate/ Assistant Professor with the grade pay ranging between Rs.6600 to 7600/- pm.
Furthermore, the appointees are liable to get Dearness & House Rent Allowance, medical facilities, etc as per the ordinances of ESIC.
ESIC’s Application Fee
The Application fee of Rs.225/- should be remitted in the shape of Demand Draft by general and OBC candidates in favor of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Gulbarga. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental/ Ex-servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

Enclose the necessary self attested documents of age proof, Community certificate, educational & experience certificate, No Objection Certificate, etc and also should submit the original documents for the same.
The candidates should write your name and address at the reverse side of the Demand draft and place loosely inside the cover, which holds the documents.
