Qualification Details for ESIC Delhi Recruitment
The applicants who wish to apply for the Notification – I Positions should hold an approved medical qualification which is included in the First or Second Schedule or part-II of the 3rd Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1961 or any equally recognized qualification.
In addition to that, the candidates must have persuaded Post graduation (MD/ MS/ DM/ MCH) in Anesthesia/ Radiology/ Medicine/ Cardiology/ Urology/ Neurology or any equivalent from an accredited university.
For the Notification – II Posts, the appliers must have completed MBBS or Diploma or MD/ MS/ DNB in the area of Pediatrics/ Surgery/ Obstetrician & Gynecologist/ Chest/ Eye or any relevant qualification.
Experience Required for ESIC Posts
After obtaining the above qualification, the individuals must have undergone teaching or research experience in their concern discipline for about 2 to 5 years from any well known medical college or central institution.
Age Limitations on ESIC Vacancies
The upper age for the appliers who are applying for the Super Specialty post should not exceed 64 years and 67 years for the Assistant Professor or Specialist (teaching) post.
In the same manner, for the senior resident position the age limit is curbed to 35 years and 45 years for the full time contractual specialist position. The crucial date for determining the age of the candidates will be as on the date of interview.
Age relaxation shall be granted upto 3 years for the OBC category, 5 years for the SC/ ST category and 10 years for the PWD candidates with respect to the existing orders of Government in effect.
Interview Procedure for ESIC Delhi Vacancy
Medical Graduates who have an inclination towards these professions, are welcomed for ESIC’s recruitment. Contenders should be report at the venue, half n hour before the interview with all your supporting documents and testimonials for verification purpose.
After the document verification, only the suitable candidates will be allowed to take part in the interview process. Depending upon the interviewee’s attitude, work or subject knowledge and interaction skills the final selection will be made.
Emoluments for ESIC Appointees
The selected candidates will be placed on a contractual basis for an initial period of 1 to 3 years. While practicing these services, the individual designated as Super Specialist will get a pay of Rs.60000/- per month for 3 hours session per day (5 days in a week) and also shall be admissible for Rs.2000/- for extra two sessions and Rs.10000/- pm for emergency calls.
Howbeit, for the Notification – II & Teaching positions the salary will be provided by means of qualification and experience. Appointees holding MBBS degree will get salary as per the pay band-3 i.e. Rs. 17540 to 39100/- per month, Rs. 18150 to 39100/- pm for the Diploma holders and Rs.18750 to 39100/- pm for the MD/ MS/ DNB with grade pay of Rs.6600/-.
Additionally, the appointees shall be permissible for Dearness allowance; House rent allowance, etc as per ESIC ordinance.
Application Fee for ESIC
The Application fee should be remitted in the form of demand draft/ Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of “ESI Fund A/c No.1” Payable at Delhi. The general/ OBC candidates who are applying for the Notification – I Post should pay Rs.100/- and applicants belonging to the SC /ST / PWD category are exempted from fee payment.
General/ OBC Applicants who are applying for the Notification – II post should pay Rs. 300 /- as application fee and Rs.75/- for the other category candidates. The fee once remitted cannot be refunded at any cost.
Documents to be produced at ESIC Interview
Aspirants can download the prescribed application form from ESIC’s formal website i.e. www.esic.nic.in and the form should be filled up in block letters in the applicants own handwriting.
Affix a recent passport size photo thereon and attach the self attested documents of DOB Certificate, Degree/ Diploma certificate, Experience Certificate, DMC Registration certificate, caste (if applicable), Bank draft and published papers and the original documents for the same has to be submitted during interview.
Appliers who are presently working in any institution or government organizations should produce the “No Objection Certificate” from their current employer.
