Desirable Qualification for EPIL Positions
Candidates applying for the Deputy General Manager position should have completed 2 years full time post graduate Diploma/ MBA in Personal Management/ Human Resource/ MSW with minimum 55 % marks in aggregate.
Aspirants holding BE/ B.Tech Degree or AMIE with specialization in Electronics and Communication Engineering or any similar qualification with 55% Marks in overall semester are suitable for the Manager and Assistant Manager position.
For the management Trainee post, the applicants must have persuaded Associate Company Secretary Course with 55% marks in whole semester from a widely known university.
Prior Work Experience for EPIL Posts
Bidders who are applying for the above positions must hold minimum 2 to 15 years of post qualification experience as executive in the relevant field from any reputed organization. However, no beforehand experience is required for trainee posts.
Age Restraints on EPIL Posts
The upper age limit for the Dy. General Manager is freezed to 43 years, 33 years for the Manager Posts, 30 years for the Assistant position and 28 years for the Management Trainee post. The crucial date for considering the age of the applicant will be as on the closing date of application submission.
Age relaxation will be permitted upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC category and 10 years for PWD category. At any cost, the age of the applicants should not be more than 58 years as per EPIL decree.
Selection Process for EPIL Posts
With subject to the details entered by the applicants through online form, the Shortlisting will be done by the EPIL management. Only the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview and the acknowledgement for the interview shall be made through email or SMS.
The to and fro rail/ bus charges will be paid for outstation candidates appearing for the interview. Necessary documents, No Objection Certificate and testimonials should be produced during the interview for verification.
Depending upon the number of contestants, the management will decide whether to conduct a written test or not. The interviewer will judge the performance of the interview by attitude, work proficiency and communication skills.
EPIL Industrial Pattern Pay Scale
Except the Management trainees, all the other appointees will be placed on regular service at EPIL. The management trainee will be undergoing training for a period of one year and shall be entitle for a stipend of Rs. 15000/- pm.
After the training, the trainees will be considered as E-I Grade and shall get paid as per the pay scale of Rs.16400 to 40500/- pm and this same payment will be received by Assistant manager also.
The one who is appointed as General Manager shall be paid as per the pay scale of Rs.32900 to 58000/- per month and Rs.20600 to 46500/- pm for the Manager post, in accordance with the EPIL norms.
Application fee for EPIL Posts
The application fee can be remitted either through Credit or debit card only. The appliers belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay Rs.250/- as application fee, which is non-refundable. Howbeit, SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

- You will be directed to the online application form.
- Choose the post applied form and fill the personal details, Educational and experience details.
- Upload your Photo and Signature in the mentioned format.
- Check the details twice before clicking the final “Submit”
- After the submission, make the fee payment.
- On successful fee payment, an application form will be generated in the system.
- Download and take the printout of the form for future reference.
