Directorate General of Training (DGET) has broadcasted a new recruitment notification over its authorized portal and other job sites regarding the placement of skillful and well trained youngsters in the unfilled positions of “Junior Consultant” on short term basis. Requisite Qualification for DGET Posts

To apply for DGET Posts, applicants must have passed 10th or 12th examination and should hold National Trade certificate/ National Apprenticeship Certificate/  in the respective trade or any regular advance skill certificate or National Craft Instructors Certificate issued by NVTC. Appliers possessing Diploma in Engineering/ technology are also eligible to apply.

Experience Required for DGET Posts

After obtaining the above qualifications, the applicants must have worked in the relevant field for a minimum period of 5 years. Appliers holding teaching experience are more preferred for DGET Posts.

Age Limitations on DGET Jobs

Candidates who are applying for the DGET Posts should age between 21 to 30 years. There is no upper age limit in case of retiree.

DGET Selection Process

After verifying the hardcopies of the applications, applicants who found to be eligible shall be shortlisted for written test/ skill test followed by interview. Contenders who qualify in the written test/ skill test shall be called for personal interview. Based on the performance at the interview, the final selection for engagement will be done.

Consolidated Pay for DGET Appointees

Selected candidates will be appointed on contractual basis for an initial period of 10 months which could be extended further, subject to satisfactory services. The monthly wages provided for the DGET Appointees will be Rs. 30000/- per month.
