Qualifications Required for Research Fellow Vacancies
Aspiring career beginners in DFRL for the post of Junior Research Fellow must have possessed M.Sc degree in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Biotechnology with first class from any reputed Institution.
Candidates who possess demonstrated skill acquired through dissertation in food biotechnology is desired for that designation.
Age Confinement for DFRL Recruitment
The age of the applicants for the position of Junior Research Fellow in DFRL is ceiling on at 28 years. The age limit assigned for them is reckoned as on the closing date of advertisement.
The age relaxation is granted for those aspirants who are claiming under the category in the order of 5 years for SC/ ST category, 3 years for OBC category as per the Government of India rules.
DFRL Selection Process
The received applications are initially screened by the selection committee and the shortlisted candidates are called for interview. The attendees need to produce their original documents in proof of caste, age, qualifications etc.
Current employees of Government of Public Sector Undertakings should bring the “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview. The antecedents will be verified subject to after selection. The participants of the selection will not receive any travel or dearness allowance.

DFRL Recruitment Application Fee
Applier’s are required to pay an application fee of Rs.10/- in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in the name of Director in favour of ‘Defence Food Research Laboratory’, Mysore. SC/ ST/ PH categories and women candidates are waived from the payment of the application fee.
