Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) located in New Delhi is responsible for determining tariff for electricity; regulating power purchase & procurement process, promoting efficiency & economy in electricity industry, etc. Without any consultancy firm, DERC has now decided to prepare Business plan as well as Tariff orders. To support its mission by carrying out the scope of works like computation of voltage wise availability of distribution lines & sub-stations, data management, programme development for e-filling, etc. about 5 candidates are needed for Staff Consultant position.

Educational Qualification: Degree holders on concerned subjects can apply for the Staff Consultant vacancies in Engineering/ Tariff streams of DERC, studied from any recognized institution/ university.

Work Experience: Applying candidates must have obtained years of experience in Power sector field from any reputed organization. Preference will be given to aspirants who had gained experience on distribution, transmission & generation sector.

Age Limit: The upper age limit to compete for the Staff Consultant jobs under Engineering/ Tariff departments is 40 years. Aspirants who are exceeding this age as on 1st January 2017 are found unfit.
Recruitment Procedure: Management has decided to conduct only interviews for most eligible appliers. Depending upon availability of vacancies, deserving number of aspirants shall be called for this interaction. Finally outstanding candidates shall get deputed.
