Requisite Qualification for Technician Posts
The candidates applying for the Technician position at CQA must have qualified ITI in any trade or any similar Defence service Tradesman course approved by central or state government with ample knowledge in basic computer operations.
Age Confinement on CQA Vacancies
The age limit of the candidates who are applying for the Technician position should be between 18 to 27 years. Age relaxation can be granted upto 5 years for SC /ST / Ex-servicemen and 3 years for OBC category.
The departmental candidates can get age relaxation upto 13 years in case of general category and 18 years for SC /ST as per the law and orders of central government. The crucial date for determining the age of the applicant will be as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Selection Scheme for Technician Posts
CQA will validate the documents and applications forms send by the candidates through the post. The shortlisted candidates shall be acknowledged about the written or skill test through Mobile number or email id. The candidates who qualify in the written exam will be invited for the skill test.
The skill test shall be conducted based on their concern trades. The marks obtained in both the test will be calculated and a merit list will be prepared in order of preference.
Remuneration for Technician Profession
The selectees shall be recruited for a probationary period of 2 years. Based upon the satisfactory performance of the appointees, they will be entitled for getting promotions.
Howbeit, the technicians will get paid as per the pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200/- per month with grade pay of Rs.1800/- and are admissible to get additional benefits like travel allowance, house rent, New Pension Scheme, etc as per the norms of CQA.
