Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) is an organisation that works underneath Chemicals & Petrochemicals department of Indian government, on Chennai city. Under this institute, designing, tooling, processing and testing of plastics shall be done. Academic Profile: Except for Librarian designation, first class marks on relevant graduation/ post graduation subjects are obligatory. The qualification must be studied on full time basis and from recognised university/ institution.
- For No. 1 post: Degree preferably in Management/ any professional field and MBA (Per./ HR) or Master in Human Resource Management.
- For No.2 position: B.Com and MBA in Finance subject or CA/ ICWA
- For Librarian designation: Graduation/ PG Diploma in Library Science subject
- For Administrative Assistant job: Degree in Arts/ Science disciplines
- For Accounts Assistant post: Bachelor Degree in Commerce subject
Those who are eager to enter on Librarian jobs should also have good typing or operating skills of Personal Computer. For Administrative Assistant position, Shorthand (lower), typewriting (higher) and working knowledge in Ms-Office are the requisite qualities apart from degree.
Requisite Experience: On relevant domains, from any reputed/ governmental organization aspirants are expected to hold years of post qualification experiences. Adequate proficiency in working of Tally Software is also found essential for Accounts Assistant position.

Recruitment Process: On seeing the maximum suitability of appliers, Screening Committee will call only limited number of aspirants for the viva-voce. Invited outstation candidates might get to and fro travel fare as per CIPET norms.

Salary and Allowances: On appointment to the Assistant Officer posts, per month as per Pay Band-2 scale salary will be offered. For other designations, the pay will be in a range of Pay Band-1.
- For Assistant Officer designation: Rs.9300 – 34800/- and Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-
- For other vacant positions: Rs.5200 – 20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
For deserving cases, based on qualification/ experience increment/ decrement in basic pay may also be done. Besides, other allowances and benefits would be provided as applicable to posts.
