CIMFR Recruitment 2016 – Apply for 45 Assistant and Stenographer Posts. Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research (CIMFR) is a research based institute below the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) demands for applications from energetic and mastered Indian candidates to occupy the vacant situations of Assistant and Stenographer.

Essential Qualification for CIMFR Vacancies:

The least qualification required to apply for the Assistant position is 10th, 12th Pass or any equivalent qualification with excellent typewriting speed of 35 words per minute (wpm) in English or 30 wpm on computer.

To apply for the Stenographer position, the applicant should have passed Higher Secondary Level or its equivalent with shorthand speed of 80 wpm and 40/ 35 wpm in typewriting in English/ Hindi on Computer.

Age Confinement on Assistant & Stenographer Posts:

CIMFR has set the lower age limit of the applicant as 18 years and 28 years as upper age limit. Age relaxation is granted upto 3 years for the OBC category, 5 years for the SC/ ST/ Domiciles of J & K candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates as per Government norms.

There is no age restriction for the candidates who are working already in CSIR. The maximum age for the widows/ divorced women is fixed to 35 years (40 years for SC/ ST & 38 years for OBC). The age will be calculated as on 25th July 2016.

CIMFR’s Screening Schemes:

The screening committee will scrutinize the academic details given on the documents provided by the candidates through post. After the initial screening, the shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged about the screening tests date, place and time through the email or SMS.

For the Assistant Post, the CIMFR will conduct a written test (General English/ Hindi & GK) which is qualifying nature. Candidates who are acquiring that fixed cutoff mark will be selected and will be invited for qualifying typing test.

By calculating the mark secured by the candidates in both the exams, a final merit list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website.

For the Stenographer posts, the candidates shortlisted based on the academic marks will be invited for competitive Proficiency test.

Pay Scale for 45 Assistant & Stenographer Posts:

The selected candidates are liable to be posted in any centers/ laboratories of CSIR located at other parts of India. The appointees will have to aid the General Administration/ Store & Purchase/ Finance & Account and other official typing works assigned by the management.

To perform these tasks, the management will pay Rs.5200 to 20200/- with grade pay between Rs.1900 to 2400/- per month. Apart from the basic pay, these posts also bears regular allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, travel allowance, etc as per the ordinances of CSIR-CIMFR.

Fee Payment Mode for CIMFR:

The general/ OBC category candidates have to pay a non-refundable Rs.100/- in the shape of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in the favor of “Director, Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research and Payable at SBI, Hirapur Branch, Dhandbad (Branch Code: 001670)”.

The applicants belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women Category & CSIR’s Regular employees are exempted from fee payment. Write your Name, Code & Post Applied & Address at the reserve side of the DD.

Applying Process for CIMFR:

The aspirants satisfying all the eligibility conditions can find the attachment of the prescribed application form from the official notification. Take the printout of it and duly fill the application form clearly.

Affix a latest passport size photo and along with that form enclose the self attested documents of Age proof, Caste or disability certificate, educational mark sheets, Discharge certificate (in case of Ex-servicemen), Demand Draft Slip (don’t staple )etc.

Name of the post applied and Advt.No should be mentioned on the top of the self attested envelope which holds the documents.
