CGHS Recruitment 2016 Vacancies for Pharmacist Position. The Office of Additional Director underneath Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Indian Government is looking ahead for talented staffs to fulfill the vacant posts of Pharmacist under Allopathic stream. Aspirants those who had registered as Pharmacist in concerned Council are only eligible to apply.
Candidates possessing good academic record as expected by CGHS will only be considered. Few vacancies (7) are available and this may also be increased or decreased at the time of appointment. Government servants can also apply for this recruitment and also they are liable for relaxations in minimum eligibility conditions as per Central Government rules.

Competitive examination shall be conducted by National Board of Examination located in Delhi, to predict the knowledgeable applicants. Finally, on the basis of merit marks fitting aspirants will get appointed to Pharmacist designation (job location is Jaipur).The applying format and job requirements are mentioned in below section.

Pharmacist Post Desirable Qualification
The applying persons should have studied Higher Secondary in Science subject or equivalent from recognized board. Also, they must have accomplished Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree (Pharmacy) or equivalent from recognized university, to apply for CGHS recruitment.
Experiences Details for Pharmacist Job
Candidates who had worked in any good reputed hospital/ pharmacy for a period of 2 years (after registration as Pharmacist) should only apply for this recruitment. But individuals holding Degree certificate are exempted from this minimum expected experience of CGHS.
Age Criteria of CGHS
After obtaining the aforementioned qualification, if they are not below 18 years of age then they are eligible for CGHS recruitment. But, the upper age limit should not be beyond 25 years in any cases. The last date of application submission is taken as the cut-off date for calculating age limit.
The government servants coming under General category can apply upto 40 years of age and this freezed age is extended as five more years for SC/ ST government employees (i.e. 45 years).
CGHS Selection Process
Only one mode of selection has been set by CGHS, which is Written Examination. Eligible candidates shall only be permitted to attend this test, because initial filtering would be done by CGHS Selection Authorities. After screening, the complete enclosures shall be forwarded to National Board of Examination (NBE).
This board will issue admit cards for these screened aspirants and the eligible candidates list would also be displayed in NBE website. The test will be in paper based mode with multiple choice questions and the exam duration would be 3 hours. Negative mark is also applicable for every wrong answers.
Pay Scale Given for Pharmacist Position
The aspirants chosen for Pharmacist job under Allopathic division will be allotted with a monthly salary of Rs.5200 – 20200/- (Pay Band – 1) and a Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-. They may also get other allowances and benefits as per CGHS rules & regulations.
CGHS Jobs Applying Procedure
A neatly typed/ hand written application on A4 size paper in prescribed proforma (as given in official website of CGHS under Recruitment section) should be forwarded, to apply for Pharmacist (Allopathic) designation. It is notable that, the application must be typed in English/ Hindi (on single side) and also paste a self attested latest passport size photograph in it.
The filled-in form should be attached with self signed copies of certificates like Qualification, Experience/ Disability/ NOC (if any), Age proof, Caste, etc. These documents must reach “The Additional Director, Office of the Additional Director, Central Government Health Scheme, Kendriya Sadan Parisar, Block-B, Ground Floor, Sector-10, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur – 302 039”, before last date.
