CECRI Recruitment 2016 – Walk-in Interview for 09 Project Assistant Positions. Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi, one of the research laboratories of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Madras Complex has dispersed a vacancy notice through their official website with the intention of designating skillful candidates as Project Assistant designation to serve in their projects. Presently, CECRI is managing four different projects which are about electrolyte fuel cells, thermal power system, etc. To handle these projects, CECRI is planning to recruit brilliant candidates to lead their mission to success. CECRI Recruitment 2016
Selected candidates will be bestowed with attractive salary and accommodation facilities each month. Aspirants selected in CECRI Recruitment 2016 will be appointed on any one of the ongoing CECRI projects. Keen and fulfilling candidates may appear for the walk-in interview, which will be held on the fixed date and time as mentioned at the bottom of this section.
Qualification Required for CECRI
The minimum qualification needed to apply for the CECRI’s Project Assistant position is BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or M.Sc Degree with specialty in Chemistry or M.Tech in Nanoscience & Technology from a well known university or Institution. Moreover, the applicants should have secured 55 % marks in the qualifying degree.
CECRI Post Qualification Experience
Graduates who are applying for the CECRI positions should hold prior work experience in the field of fuel cells for a minimum period of 2 years, after acquiring the above qualification.
Age Relaxation on CECRI Vacancies
The minimum age required to apply for CECRI jobs is capped to 30 years. However, the upper age limit is freezed to 35 years for all applicants. The crucial date for determining the age of the appliers will be as on 31st August 2016.
Reserved category candidates who are petitioning for the CECRI vacancies can get age relaxation as per government orders. The upper age limit can be relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ ST category, 3 years for OBC category and 10 years for physically challenged candidates.
CECRI Interview Process
Candidates who are fulfilling the requirements of CECRI may appear for the walk-in interview drive on the predetermined date. Contestants should come along with documentary proof in original as well as in Xerox copies.
The selection will be made by means of interviewee’s experience, subject knowledge, interactive skills, etc. Anyhow, the final decision for appointment shall be made by CECRI management.
Stipends for CECRI Designees
Successful candidates will be made to work on various projects which are currently handled by CECRI. Contenders who are appointed as Project Assistant-III will receive stipend amount of Rs.28000/- per month and Rs.25000/- pm for the Project Assistant-II designation.
Besides the basic salary, the appointees are also liable to get house rent allowance and other facilities in accordance to the CECRI ordinance.
