BOI Recruitment Designation Details:
Eligibility criteria to apply for BOI Positions:
To apply for the above positions, the applicant should be a B.Com Graduate with minimum 60% mark and must have completed master’s degree in MBA/ PGDBM/ PGDBA from an accredited institute or a full time course in Chartered Accountant/ ICWA are suitable to apply for BOI vacancies.
Experience required to apply for BOI Positions:
In addition to the above qualification the applier should have employed in the fields of risk management/ Relationship Manager/ Retail banking in any financial sectors for about 5 to 7 years and it is essential to have 2 years experience as officer in any Large Bank.
Age restraints on BOI Vacancies:
The minimum age confining for the Officer position is 21 years and should not exceed 30 years, 28 to 35 years for the Manager Post and 30 to 38 years for the senior manager position.
The age limit will be computed as on the date 1st April 2016. The age mentioned above can be relaxed upto 3 years by OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for the PWD as per the BOI norms.
Screening procedures for 517 manager vacancy in BOI :
BOI bank conducts screening process like online test and personal interview’s to shortlist the candidates as per their requirements. At first, candidates will be screened on the basis of eligibility conditions mentioned in the online application.
The shortlisted individuals will be intimated for the online exam through email/phone. Those who are scoring the minimum qualifying marks will be invited to appear for the interview.
The individual attending the interview must produce the supporting original documents and its hard copies for verification. After validating the documents he/she will be allowed for interview. The candidates will be judges on the basis of work knowledge, communication skills and performance in the viva-voice.
Online exam Pattern for BOI recruitment 2016:
The online exam will be for 150 marks and will be conducted for 2 ½ hours. The exam conducted will comprise of objective type questions in the sections of English language, General Awareness and Financial Management.
The general awareness questions will consist of banking related static as well as current affair questions. For each wrong answer there will be a penalty .25 marks.
Pay Scale for BOI appointees:
The person appointed as Officer in BOI will get a pay starting from Rs.23700 to 42020/- on a Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS I) and for Manager Post the basic salary ranges from Rs.31705 to 45950/- on a MMGS II (Middle Management Grade Scale –II).
Senior manager will get salary as per the pay scale of Rs.42020 to 51490/- per month on a Middle Management Grade Scale- III (MMGS III). Apart from the above pay, other allowances are admissible as per BOI norms.
Application Fee for BOI Recruitment 2016:
After completing the online application form, you will be directed to the fee payment site. The application fee can be paid by means of online gateway (credit card, debit card and net banking).
The person belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay Rs.600/- and Rs.100/- for the SC/ST/PWD category candidates.

- Then click on the “New Registration” button and enter the details like name, phone number, email id, address and after the submission you will get a temporary Register no. and password through email or phone number.
- Proceed with further application. Fill the other details like qualification and experience.
- Upload the scanned copy of recent passport size photo and signature.
- Before final submission and check the details you have entered.
- After the submission, you will be directed to a payment site.
- Once you make the fee payment, a final application form will be generated.
