Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2017 Apply Online for 400 Probationary Officer Trainee Course. Baroda Manipal School of Banking under the control of Manipal University is admitting young, energetic and innovative minds to join the nine months post graduate certificate in Banking and Financial course. The course consist of campus program, on the successful completion of the training they will be offered appointment in the bank as Probationary Officer (PO) in Junior Management Grade/ Scale-I. After joining the bank, initial three months the appointees are subject to Work Integrated learning (WLL) trainee at Bank of Baroda Branch.

Totally three batches are included and the intake of the students in each batch are decided as per the requirement of the bank. Qualification Required for Bank of India Careers

Applicants for the designation of Probationary Officer Trainee in Bank of Baroda must have possessed graduate degree/ equivalent qualification under any discipline from any recognized University.

And also those candidates must have secured minimum 60% of marks for their qualification. 5% of relaxation in mark is applicable for SC/ ST/ PWD aspirants (50%).

Age Constraint for BOB Recruitment

The age of the individuals who are applying for the position of Probationary Officer Trainee in Bank of Baroda should have attained a maximum age limit between 20 to 28 years (2nd August, 1988 to 1st August, 1996). The crucial date for determining the age limit is 31st August, 2016.

The applier’s claiming under the category of SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ Persons domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir/ Persons affected by 1984 riots will be granted with the age relaxation of 5 years.

And also 3 years of age relaxation is allowed for OBC category and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). PWD persons will further undergo age relaxation depending upon their category as per the Government guidelines.

Bank of India Recruitment Process

Applicants for Probationary Officer Trainee vacancy are selected in Bank of Baroda through online examination followed by psychometric assessment, group discussion and personal interview. For interview/ GD the attendees must carry the self attested photocopy of Graduation Degree/ Mark Sheet, caste, disability, OBC certificates, NOC from present employer etc.

The selection committee chose the people who are bright, having good communication skills, dedicated, team work, passionate in career, integrity and Positive attitude. The finalists chosen from the above procedures will undergo training. Only SC/ ST/ PWD candidates will receive the travel allowance.

Probationary Officer Trainee Examination Pattern

The online examination will be of objective and descriptive. In Objective section, the questions will be from the areas of reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General awareness related to banking industry and English Language.

The descriptive part questions also from English Language. Each of the section carries 50 marks and the duration of the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes. Negative marks is also allotted for the online test (1/4 marks).

If the data has saved a provisional registration number and password will be generated on the screen. Editing facility is available for three times only. The applicants must possess the valid e-mail address.

Programme Fees for Trainee Course

To join the Probationary Officer Trainee Course, the students have to pay an amount of Rs.3.45/- Lakhs with additional service taxes. Apart from the course fee, the institute will accept the exam fees for undergoing various certificate exams through NISM. Currently the fees of certificate examination in NISM is Rs.2500/-.

Students can avail the education loan to finance the course fees, will be granted by the Bank of Baroda at highly concessional rate of interest (8% per annum). The EMI’s will start after the completion of course.

After the online application, the applicants for the post of Probationary Officer Trainee have to pay an amount of Rs.600/- for general category and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates as application fee. The fee must be paid online through Debit or Credit card only.
