Preferable Qualifications for PGT/ TGT/ PRT Posts

Selection Procedures for PGT/ TGT/ PRT
The selection process shall be done in three stages. In the 1st stage, the online applications will be scrutinized and only the eligible candidates shall be invited to appear for the online screening test. Contestants who qualify in this round shall be given score cards which can be used for attaining teaching jobs at CBSE affiliated Schools.
In the 2nd stage, selected candidates are required to attend the personal interview. Individuals who overcome this process will be qualified for 3rd stage of selection. In this stage, the candidates will be evaluated on their teaching skills and Computer proficiency by conducting a written or skill test.
Army School Written examination Pattern
The multiple choice question paper contains two parts viz. Part- A and Part-B. In the Part-A & B section, a total of 90 questions will be asked from sections of General awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts & Methodology and another 90 questions will be from their concern subject.
Each section will be held for duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes and a penalty of 0.25 marks shall be detected for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks set by Army Public School for each section is 50 %.

The basic salary and grade pay are generally comparable to Central Government rates and allowances shall be fixed by the respective school management.
