Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Limited (AIL) has decided to recruit qualified Indian nationals for the vacant posts of Aircraft Technician. Listed 961vacancies are a panel of current & future requirements. The total openings may be changed later depending upon Company’s actual needs.
This employment is only for a fixed term period of 5 years to carryout the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) works in AIESL units/ stations (within India). The entrants will undergo 1 year training in particular branch and after finishing this training successfully, they would be placed on Aircraft Technician position.

Academic Profile for AIESL Recruitment
Individuals holding Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Diploma certificate from DGCA approved institution are eligible for AIESL’s Aircraft Technician job. The SC/ ST/ OBC candidates must have obtained 55% marks and others should have secured 60% marks (minimum) in respective subject.
If the applying person is an Ex-serviceman, then they must have accomplished Group 1 related qualification of Diploma in Engineering/ 4 years course in relevant disciplines from recognized university.
AIESL Age Limitations
The freezed age for General Category candidates is 28 years, to apply for Aircraft Technician designation in AIESL. After general relaxations, the applying age of SC/ ST persons should not exceed 33 years and which is 31 years for OBCs.
Ex-Servicemen are also applicable for age concession based on the span of service in Army/ Navy/ Air Force plus three years. The age limits would be computed as on 1st July 2016.
Selection Technique of AIESL
